Sinoglyph
is an artistic project started in 2013 inspired by learning Chinese characters.
3000 years ago Chinese characters were figuratives, but in their evolution, transcriptions mistakes and intensive use, they have slowly moved from their genuine pattern. Sinoglyphs is a reverse engineering project of the main Kanji radicals. The idea is to find the original meaning of the character and to redesign it in a contemporary shape understandable everywhere, then using the new sinoglyph radicals to write any Chinese sophisticate characters.
